There are various types of alignment roller sets such as intermediate pivot type, four-link type, vertical roller type, etc. Its principle is to use blocking or roller rotation in the horizontal plane in the direction of blocking or generating transverse thrust to make the belt automatically centred to achieve the purpose of adjusting the belt runout. The adjustment method is similar to the adjustment of the roller group. For the head pulley, if the belt is deflected to the right of the pulley, the right bearing block should be moved forward, and if the belt is deflected to the left of the pulley, the left bearing block should be moved forward, or the left bearing block can be moved back or the right bearing block can be moved back. The tail pulley is adjusted in the opposite way to the head pulley.

The scattering of material when the belt runs off is due to a change in the height of the two edges of the belt during operation, with one side being high and the other low, and material being scattered from the low side, which is dealt with by adjusting the belt runout.
